Surfing at Katagai

Surfed at Katagai again with Yuko!


Super windy but waves were fun once you got on it... Yuko went short boarding with me :)



Then we went to eat lunch.... Takoyaki!!



And then for dinner... We went to eat at Sweets Paradise!! Hope I don't get FAT!!

Hangin' out with Yuko :)

Went surfing at Katagai today :) the waves were about chest high! Yuko went shortboarding with me :) lots of fun...

Picked up shells after we surfed... Aren't these cute?!



Then we went to eat lunch!! We were so cold after coming out of the water, Yuko took me to eat udon :) it was my first tine going to one that was buffet style... You pick your udon and you also get to pick your sides like tempura and rice ball!!

Mini cupcakes!!

It's gotten super cold in Japan all of a sudden!! It's windy and the waves have been small :( Hung out at Ryobay's place in Taito yesterday and ended up making these tiny cupcakes :)






Cute huh?! Hope I can find some surf today... Gotta go practice!!

Congrats Erina and Shota!!

Lost first round again :( sorry... Couldn't catch the right waves... I'm thinking I'm really in a slump this year...

I'm still happy I stuck around to watch the finals... Erina killed it!! It's been awhile since I saw her win one so I'm really happy for her!! CONGRATS!!



And congrats to Shota :) I hear it's his first win!!



All in all this event was lots of fun! There was a charity sale going on... And within the three days of the competiton, there was hula dancing, hip hop dancing, and surf schools for kids, and adults... Sooooo FUN!! There were tents set up with food that you can buy... YUM!!

Happy Birthday Kalia & Kira!

I'm so bummed I'm missing my two nieces birthdays :( Kalia's one was on the 22nd and Kira's is coming up on the 25th. Happy Birthday girls!!! Love you guys!



I'm in Chiba now for the Ichinomiya JPSA comp. Gotta surf tomorrow morning! Let's hope I don't go down first round...

Mister Donuts!!

Went to surf early in the morning to "Uchibou" today with Yuko!! Staying at her house for the Ichinomiya comp :)
Rushed home to make sure we weren't stuck outdoors with typhoon #15. It literally ran over us around 4-5 pm! It was pouring rain and super windy :(
To kill time we got this donut making kit... Look how cute!! The donut on the right is a regular donut :)






Me and Yuko stepped out for just a little to visit Akira Ishizuka and his family! His son "Mitsuki" looks exactly like him!!






Typhoon just about passed Chiba now... I wonder if JPSA can run the pro trials tomorrow?! Yikes!!

Kozu farm!!

The next day we went to a "bokujo" or farm :)
They have jersey cows there... We walked around and ate some fresh soft serve ice cream!!

Visiting grandma in takasaki

I got a week off till I have to start touring again so I went to visit my grandma in Takasaki.
It's been awhile since I saw her so I was very happy!!
She took me to eat "ayu"

Boo-chan

Dinner at Kugui

Went to eat with my aunty Eiko, my friend Ai-chan, and Yoko to Kugui (Yoko's hubby's restaurant) Sooooo good!!

Yoko's pregnant tummy is so CUTE and small :) she's due in November! I'm so excited for her and Eiji :)
